Multi-instrumentalist, programmer, producer, and songwriter, Jerry Abbott first signed to Warners as part of a pop/rock band at just 17 years old and cut his teeth with the likes of Nick Tauber (Thin Lizzy, Marillion), Andy Paley (Madonna, Brian Wilson) and Chris Porter (George Michael, Elton John).
Jerry co-wrote and produced the Olly Murs track "Hold On" which appears on his double platinum debut album. He's also written with Ella Eyre (Virgin), Ed Drewett, Bo Saris (Decca), James Bay (Universal Republic), Lilygreen and Maguire (Warners), Julian Velard (co-writing and producing his last album and EP), Cashtastic and hotly tipped newcomers Whinnie Williams (Futurecut Productions) and Lexy & the Kill. He's currently co-writing and producing much of the forthcoming Pixie Lott album for Mercury.
He's worked with several prominent songwriters including Ed Drewett, Roy Stride, Jim Irvin, Jon Green, Andrew Jackson, Andy Love, Grant Black, Natalia Hajjara, Talay Riley, Celetia Martin and Niara Scarlett.
Jerry's tracks have been synched across TV, drama, commercials and teen shows in the UK and USA. Most notably on Grey's Anatomy, The Hills (MTV), Date Night, Desperate Housewives and commercials for BMW, Fruity Smarties, Pannon and many more.
