Jon Green

SONGWRITER, PRODUCER.

Jon is an all round songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, splitting his time between London and Nashville.   After studying music at Paul McCartney’s LIPA, Jon spent over a decade touring the world as a sought after session musician- performing on main stages from Glastonbury to Coachella and multiple times on major tv shows such as Saturday Night Live, Ellen, Jools Holland to name but a few. Jon has always written songs as far back as he can remember- he grew up gigging and performing, crafting songs and becoming an additional band member for up and coming and established artists, both in the UK and US. In the last few years, he has co-written the US #1 Country song “What If I Never Get Over You”, sung by Lady Antebellum, produced James Bay's debut EP, wrote songs on James’ first album and gone on to co-write/co-produce all of the second album, Electric Light alongside Paul Epworth (Adele/Florence and The Machine) including the singles “Wild Love", "Pink Lemonade”, “Us”. 

​Jon’s many other cuts as a writer and producer include 5SOS ("Jet Black Heart"), Kylie Minogue ("Radio On" and "Lost Without You" from her #1 album, Golden), Linkin Park (“Battle Symphony” and “Nobody Can Save Me” from their US#1 album One More Light), Kane Brown (“Live Forever” from his US#1 album Experiment), Paloma Faith (“Surrender” from her #1 album The Architect), Little Big Town (“Questions” from their #1 Country album Nightfall), Jack Savoretti’s “Catapult”, the Maisie Peters’ song “Details” and Aquilo’s “Silhouette”, Jason Mraz’s “Let’s See What The Night Can Do”, amongst many others. 

​Ongoing and recent writing sessions include: Sam Smith, Maren Morris, Patrick Droney, Seagirls, Maisie Peters, Lily Moore, Lewis Capaldi, James Arthur, George Cosby, Foxes, Jamie N Commons, Oh Wonder, HYYTS, Declan J Donovan, Alec Benjamin, Aquilo, Jack Curley, Fancy.. plus many, many more. Jon works regularly alongside many other great songwriters, Justin Parker, Eg White, TMS, Teddy Geiger, Laura Veltz, Natalie Hemby, Ian Fitchuk, Amy Wadge and David Hodges to name a handful.

​Both as a writer and producer, Jon tries everyday to write and create songs that last and carry meaning, that move the listener.
